Kentucky Fair & Expo Center/North American Entrance Fees

All contestants and one coach per event contestant/team will receive a badge that provides entry and parking to the North American. As long as one person in the vehicle has the badge, you will receive free parking. (Please enter through the PASS GATE).

Anyone that does not have a badge must pay an additional fee for entrance (see below). Unfortunately, there is not a price available for just 3 days of entry. But with a pass you may enter and leave as many times as you wish.

$5.00 Adults
$2.00 Children 12 years old and under
$20.00 Pass for all 14 days of the exposition
$5.00 Parking
$25.00 Parking pass for all 14 days of the exposition

Most all of the contests will be held in the South Wing and Broadbent Arena. Once you enter the gates, travel straight toward Freedom Hall and the South Wing will be located to the right.

Local Restaurants

If you are wanting to dine near the hotel, here are some suggestions:

There are several food vendors located in the Fairgrounds. There is usually a "Crate and Barrel" sandwich cart located in the South Wing. Papa John's Pizza and the Kentucky Pork Producers have stands around the outside of Freedom Hall. There are several other vendors set up inside the Giant Country Store in the East Wing. My favorite... a juicy pork chop sandwich from the Pork Producers. The Ky. Aquaculture Association also makes wonderful batter dipped catfish.

McDonald's - corner of Phillips Lane and Preston Hwy. From the hotel, turn right onto Phillips Lane. Located on the left. If you are leaving the Fairgrounds, you will turn left out of the main gate.

Taco Bell - corner of Phillips Lane and Preston Hwy. In Value City Furniture parking lot. From the hotel, turn right onto Phillips Lane. Located on the right. If you are leaving the Fairgrounds, you will turn left out of the main gate.

Arby's - on Crittenden Drive. From the hotel, turn left onto Phillips Lane. Travel to Crittenden Drive and turn right. Arby's is down on the left. If you are leaving the Fairgrounds, you will turn right out of the main gate.

Fifth Quarter Steakhouse - If you would like a nicer sit-down meal, the Fifth Quarter is a very nice steakhouse with the best salad bar in town. Average price of a dinner with salad bar is $12 to $16. From the hotel, travel right onto Phillips Lane. Turn right onto Preston Hwy. Travel approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto Durrett Lane (gas stations are on each corner). The restaurant is on the left near the Expressway.

Cardinal Hall of Fame Restaurant - Sports atmosphere without all the smoke, this restaurant has a great variety of menu items. Located on Crittenden Drive. From the hotel, turn left onto Phillips Lane, then right onto Crittenden. Located on the right near Fair Gate 4.

Cracker Barrel - Located on Crittenden Drive near Fair Gate 4. From the hotel, turn left onto Phillips Lane, then right onto Crittenden.

Bob Evans - From the hotel, travel right onto Phillips Lane. Turn right onto Preston Hwy. Travel approximately 1 mile and the restaurant is on the right.

4th Street Live - Louisville's newest night hotspot. Restaurants and entertainment venues include Hard Rock Cafe, Red Star Tavern, and TGIFriday's. Located in Downtown Louisville. From the hotel, take I-65 towards Downtown Louisville. Exit at  Muhammad Ali Blvd. See their web site for additional directions and parking information.
