Date: November 3-5, 2006

Location: Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, Louisville, Ky.

Lodging and Travel


Contestants are encouraged to stay at Executive Inn, across from the Fair and Expo Center (978 Phillips Lane), Louisville, Kentucky 40209-1399 (502-367-6161). Special rates are available for all participants in the Roundup. Reservations must be made on the reservation form, and each state is totally responsible for lodging, meals, and travel arrangements for its contestants. Additional information about travel costs and local entertainment.

Entry deadline


September 15 of the contest year. The entry must be on the special form (OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM - EASTERN NATIONAL 4-H HORSE ROUNDUP) and signed by the respective state 4-H club leader or state extension horse specialist.

Checks or credit card payments per individual and/or team, should be made payable to the North American International Livestock Exposition, and must accompany the entry.

Registration


will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, November 3, in the East Wing Conference Center the evening before the contest. The coaches' meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m.ET, following registration.

Awards


will be announced and presented to the top ten individuals and/or teams at the Sunday morning Recognition breakfast. There is recognition given to the coach of the winning team. On the entry blank please list (one name) the name of the coach most responsible for assisting the team.
