Attire
Weather in Kentucky is very
unpredictable this time of year. It will be best to consult
www.weather.com a few days before
your departure to plan your clothing (zip code: 40213). We have had
highs in the 70's and in the 30's in November.
Regarding the awards breakfast most
people wear "Sunday" or social occasion clothes. Men usually wear
jackets and ties. Some of the contestants also wear their matching
team outfits. Prom dresses, t-shirts, and flip-flops look a little out
of place. use your best judgment. Remember - you may have your photo
taken!
Lunch on Saturday
Lunch is provided to all contestants on
Saturday. Others may visit the "Big Country Store" food court inside
the fairgrounds or venture out at one of a few local fast food
restaurants. A limited number of the contestant's box lunches will be
available for purchase for $6 after the contestants have received
their lunch.
Lodging and Travel
See the travel link.

Downs. Unfortunately we have been unable to obtain tickets for Friday's
meet, but admission is only $2, 12 and under are free. The historic track
and Derby Museum are only a few minutes from the Fairgrounds. Visit
www.churchilldowns.com for more
information.
